Get your lash game on point with my top four favorite mascaras…
First, here’s a quick reason as to why I have an extensive collection / knowledge of mascaras…As you can see in this before & after picture, mascara is one of the most important make up products I use considering my eyelids are basically bald without it lol. I have tried a ton of products and I usually end up replacing my mascara every 2-3 months. I am a total sucker for getting talked into the latest and greatest product by any salesperson at Sephora…so to save you the trouble (& the $$) I put together my top four picks.
4. Benefit’s They’re Real: This is a staple. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love it once they’ve bought it. It’s great because you can put on a few coats or as many as you want for a more dramatic look and it never gets clumpy.
3. Elizabeth Mott’s It’s So Big: This is the best if you want some serious volume. It is a fiber mascara so it adds length while making the base of my lashes look SO full. If you like the false eyelash look, then this is for you.
2. Clinique’s Bottom Lash Mascara: If you wear mascara on your bottom lashes, then you know the absolute worst is when you’re almost done with your make up and smear your bottom lashes. This is because a typical mascara brush is far too big for your baby bottom lashes. I use this Clinique mascara because it has a tiny brush that individually coats each lash to perfection. If I’m running errands or going to the gym & don’t want to look too done up, then I’ll put it on my top and bottom lashes because it coats each lash for a subtle day time look, as well.
1. Benefit’s Roller Lash: My latest obsession (and I’m wearing it in the first picture). If you like ‘They’re Real’, then you have to try this product! If you use the brush correctly and physically roll it onto your lashes in an upward motion, then it actually curls your lashes for you. I don’t use an eyelash curler because it can damage your lashes ultimately causing them to break off–& I can’t afford to lose any of those little guys. However, if you do use a lash curler, then you should give this try. I can apply one or two coats and it makes a drastic difference, plus I can put it on before work and wear it throughout the evening. It doesn’t budge.
Hope this helps next time you’re in need of new mascara & find yourself staring at all 100000 of the latest and greatest products!
