One Perfect Week

“One perfect week” of clean eats and no cheats + my food diary for today! (10/19)

The #oneperfectweek challenge is nothing crazy, but it’s a great way to start your week off on the right foot. Plus, you can do anything for one week! : ) It’s basically Monday-Monday of clean eating without any cheats (sweets, processed foods, alcohol, artificial sweeteners, sodas, ect.) Also, it is recommended you drink lots of water and try to get to at least 8 hours of sleep each night. Typically, for a balanced diet, you could eat about 80-85% clean with 15-20% treats or “non-clean” foods. However, this is a good challenge that will show you how great you can feel after a week of 100% clean foods.

Meals:

Here is what today looked like…

5:45 AM: A handful of almonds

6:00 AM: Kayla BBG work-out (I’m starting BBG 1 over again)

Breakfast 7:45 AM: 4 egg whites + 1/2 cup of oats

Snack 10:00 AM: plain greek yogurt + 1/2 cup of raspberries

Lunch 12:00 PM: Salmon Nicoise Salad (I went out to eat with my co-workers because today was my first day of work!) This is a great “out-to-eat” option, if you order the dressing on the side.

Snack 3:00: Questbar

Car ride home 5:30 PM: Gala apple (I was really hungry so I ate two snacks today)

Dinner 8:00 PM: Tuna salad (4 oz canned tuna, chopped hard-boild egg, greek yogurt, green onions, dill, salt, pepper), baby bell peppers, arugula + dressing (made my own concoction: olive oil + squeeze of lemon + salt + pepper), 3 ounces of sweet potato.
