BACHELORETTE PARTY: sharing a few bach party ideas from this past weekend. Bathing suits, gift ideas, and more…
KATHLEEN’S BACHELORETTE WEEKEND
Happy Sunday! Hope y’all had a fun weekend!! For those who may not know, I am the Maid of Honor for my sister, Kathleen. Her wedding is in September. This past weekend was her birthday and also bachelorette party. Since we are both University of Arkansas alums, most of our friends still live in and around the Arkansas/Texas areas. So we thought it would be convenient to have a quick weekend getaway at Greer’s Ferry Lake. We rented a big house in Heber Springs, Arkansas and took a pontoon out for the day yesterday. SO, now that the weekend is over I can tell y’all what I bought for the party & what was a HIT.
There are lots of cute bridal swimsuits out there on the web. Amazon has several and Kathleen’s exact suit is from Target. Here are a few linked below:
MY EXACT “MOH” SUIT
My original MOH swimsuit didn’t arrive in time, so I took matters into my own hands. I bought this black one piece off of Amazon, which was super cheap, along with some iron-on white letters from Michael’s. I just laid the letters out and ironed them on. A pretty easy DIY when you’re in a time crunch ; )
KATHLEEN’S BRIDE ACCESSORIES
I ordered her a white veil, sash, and flash tattoos off of Amazon, as well. All linked below…
So a few fun things I bought for everyone that were a big hit…
I put together a swag bag, which was a clear bag for everyone to put their stuff in when we went out of the lake. *Also added bonus, these clear bags are stadium approved so I knew everyone could re-use them for any upcoming sporting events*
Inside the bags: I put shot glass diamond rings, pool floats, sunscreen, SPF chapstick, candy, multi-colored cups, and “drinking buddies.”
all linked in the pictures below:
^ The multi-colored cups were perfect for everyone to use and they come with “Hello my name is” stickers so everyone could keep up with their own!
TOP TWO PARTY NECESSITIES:
The willy wacker piñata – seriously too funny. Willy came with several different faces that you could stick on him and it was something silly/entertaining to throw into the evening.
*CHAMPBONGS – definitely the biggest success of all my party purchases.*
I was a little unsure if people would even use them, but they were probably the highlight of our drinking festivities. You don’t have to pour a lot in there at all – it’s not as intense as a beer bong by any means!! I promise if you bring these to a bachelorette party you will be a party-starter for sure!
That’s all for now – hope this helps any of you MOHs, bridesmaids, or even brides-to be!
